The Dutch Dally returns for the 4th time in 2011!

The Dutch Dally, affectionately known as the DD, was first born in 2005 with an international group of passionate groupfitness instructors and participants gathered together to produce an awesome weekend in Dronten (The Netherlands). A weekend of fun, Les Mills & freestyle group fitness classes, socializing, late nights and BODYCOMBAT at 3am.

This event is supported by Sportstudio Shape in Dronten, where all the fitness classes are held. Without Shape and it`s employees this event could not exist as it does now!

This year includes a new twist on the previous events. Unique for this Dutch Dally is prolongation of last editions`s theme, - Wellness - , combined with a new theme: "Happy Feet".

Along with this, also included is our fundraising campaign, which, while is not the focus of the event, but add a nice touch and a sense of purpose for the weekend.

Our goal:

"Creating life changing experiences everytime, everywhere"

What about you?

F.A.Q.s

What is the Dutch Dally? The Dutch Dally is a social gathering of Les Mills instructors and participants, first inspired by the original EUROMAD held in the UK in 2004. These events allow some people to meet for the first time and has developed many great friendships! People have attended these events from all over the world, including EU, Australia, UK and USA. Everybody is welcome! The only prerequisite is you must bring some energy, passion and just a bit of fun!

Can anyone participate in this event? Yes, everyone can participate, instructors and participants. But you do need to register even if you are a member of Shape!

Are the classes limited? Yes, just like any group fitness room we do have a limit on numbers per class. Registrations will be on a first come, first serve base.

What can I do to help? We would love people to help out by donating for our selected charity - check out our sponsor and charity page.. Other than that please just bring your energy and passion!

It`s my first time to attend a Dutch Dally and I don`t know anyone. Everyone seems to know each other, will I feel left out? Absolutely not! The people involved in these events are all so friendly that after the first day you won`t even feel like it`s your first time!

I can`t speak Dutch. Can I still come? Absolutely! There are plenty of people from different speaking countries, so everyone will be communicating in more than one language.

As with previous years the Dutch Dally will be at Sportstudio Shape in Dronten.

The nearby Lelystad train station is just a one hour journey from Amsterdam Airport. We hope to arrange some kind of transport from there, if you need it. You may want to check the NS planner (Dutch railroads).

Accomadations. There is limited availability in this area. You may want to check the Dronten area for camping or hotels.

Charity

The Dutch Dally is an event that normally doesn`t emphazisie charity, but we actual try to do some fundraising.

Why is that, you may wonder?

We feel that we are blessed to be able to do the things we do. Events like The Dutch Dally (or Euromad for that matter) does make us realize that quite obviously.

We all know that some people are less fortunate. Hence while we`re having a great time we may try to do something to support initiaves that helps those less fortunates.

So, if you have any money to spare, please bring it with you. And donate it to the initiave that we`ve choosen. That is, if you think the choosen initiave can have your aproval and support.

Maybe you`d could ask your friends, colleagues or and family to sponsor you as we have great prices to give away for those that raise the most. .

On behalve of all of us, activly contributing to this event: thanks!

"Creating life changing experiences, everytime, everywhere"
